Indian Almond Leaves (Terminalia catappa) are one of the best natural water conditioners. They release antimicrobial tannins that inhibit many types of bacteria and fungus as well as help detoxify heavy metals. They're great for raising tadpoles, betta fish, freshwater shrimp, or to use as leaf litter in a reptile terrarium/vivarium.
