Lugarti’s Terrarium Silicone Sealant is specially formulated without any harmful additives, making it safe for both reptiles and fish. It offers a strong, flexible bond that resists cracking and shrinking, is UV-resistant, and cures quickly. DIRECTIONS: Ensure the surface is clean and dry before applying. For best results, apply at temperatures between 41°F and 104°F. Once applied, you will have approximately 5 minutes to smooth and shape it. The sealant will be dry to the touch within 1 to 2 hours and will fully cure after 24 hours, making it safe for water exposure. Always use in a well-ventilated area. Can be used on glass, PVC, acrylic, plastic, aluminum, and many other non-porous surfaces.

TERRARIUM BACKGROUND FOAM

Lugarti's Terrarium Background Foam allows you to build the perfect, realistic background for your Terrarium, Vivarium, or Paludarium. It's a jet black foam that you can apply material directly to (coco fiber, peat moss, rocks, sand, etc.). It's completely reptile and fish safe, so it can be used with Ponds and Waterfalls as well.

This foam expands tremendously to fill various size gaps and cracks. It comes with a handy straw applicator that allows you to get into small nooks and crannies, as well as in and around tight corners. It is very high quality and holds up well in all environments; arid and humid.

TIP: We recommend preparing glass walls with Lugarti's Aquarium Silicone Sealant before adding Background Foam.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE: Always ensure any surfaces where the foam will be applied are clean and free of any debris. Be sure to wear disposable nitrile gloves and pull the trigger slowly to apply as much or as little for the ultimate effect you are trying to achieve. (more foam will expand thicker) If you plan to add layers, be sure to allow at least 12 hours of drying time between applications. Once completely cured (after 24 hours), you can then tear, cut, and carve the foam to your desired shapes. When dry, you can optionally apply silicone and various materials (coco fiber, peat moss, rocks, sand, etc.) to give it a more natural, realistic look and feel. Alternatively, you can also add these materials immediately after spraying, when the foam is still wet.
